All questions come from the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) curriculum standards.
Eleven 7th and 8th graders competed in the Regional Championship held at Gray Stone Day School on January 26th.
Qualifying for the National Championship are Aaron Maynor (6th grade), Jeffrey Stevenson (7th grade), and Constantine Cook (8th grade).
“It is exciting to be able to host academic competitions like this at Gray Stone.
Students from around the region, including 11 of our own, were able to showcase their history knowledge in a fun way.
These students represented Gray Stone well and I am so proud of their accomplishments.” Middle School Principal, Kristen Gray added.
