Club/Organization Advisor Overview

Club Volleyball (Boys) Jake Gray We hope to have a JV and Varsity boy's volleyball team. This will be our 2nd year for boy's volleyball. This is not backyard volleyball. We have a conference of about 4 or 5 other teams who we will play during our spring season. Practices will be held during Knight time and will not conflict with other practices. Boy's volleyball is a club sport at this time with hopes of becoming a sanctioned high school sport in the next 3 years.

Through various activities such as cultural events, guest speakers, workshops, and community service projects, the Diversity Club aims to promote awareness, challenge stereotypes, and encourage positive change both within the school and the broader community. Mock Trial Olivia Petersen Mock Trial is an academic competition in which students use the real law combined with acting techniques to argue a fake legal case. Attorneys argue a case, and witnesses act out roles. Students may serve as either or both. We attend between 2 and 4 competitions a year. If you are interested, come see Mrs. Petersen in room 112!

Model United Nations Wesley Dry Has anyone ever said "we've been solving the world's problems" in response to a conversation. Well, in Model UN we actually *do* solve the world's problems (using non-nuclear means. We hope.). Students will have to represent one of the 193 nation-states recognized by the United Nations to tackle global problems that require cooperation to solve. If interested, attend the upcoming interest meeting and stop by Room 117 to talk to Mr. Dry.
